Shibin Road Community is located in the eastern old city center of Shapingba District, adjacent to Ciqikou and Geleshan Scenic Area, with abundant mountains, waters, and cultural resources. The community covers an area of about 120 hectares, and this plan takes Shijingpo Street as the research scope, taking into account the requirements for the configuration of community public service facilities. The overall construction of Shibin Road community is good, mainly consisting of commercial housing communities, with concentrated commercial  ShaCi Jingcaihui and a historical building - Chongqing Special Steel Group Factory; Surrounded by mountains and waters, there are three medium to large parks and green spaces. The community has a permanent population of about 7600 people, a low aging rate, and a diverse community structure. The area is rich in cultural resources, containing industrial culture, Hongyan culture, and Bayu culture.

The key to community planning lies in how to enhance the practicality of the plan and further explore the characteristics of the community. In response to this issue, the design team conducted an in-depth community comprehensive physical examination. The community physical examination was conducted from two aspects: field research and questionnaire interviews. On the one hand, the design team conducted three on-site investigations in the community to understand the construction situation and summarize the characteristics and problems of the community space from a professional perspective; On the other hand, the team designed a survey questionnaire on scene participation, satisfaction, and demand based on the requirements of modern community scenes and life circles. With the assistance of the street and community, nearly 80 questionnaires were distributed for interviews with residents and businesses, and multiple communications were made with street and community leaders to summarize the needs and pain points of community residents.

Based on the landscape and cultural characteristics of the community, a community IP is proposed to achieve the goal of "establishing interconnectivity and sharing between landscape, city, and community, enhancing the coupling and transformation of ecology, production, and life, and creating a beautiful new city of landscape between Jingzhi Shibin Jian and a characteristic industrial zone of Wenhua Neighborhood Connection".
