Chengjiang Old Street is adjacent to Jialing River to the east and Bibei River to the south. The project covers an area of about 262 acres, with a key design area of about 27 acres and a building area of about 3600 square meters to be updated.

The plan connects the cultural and performing arts, characteristic commerce, ecological experience, and neighborhood life through the Chengjiang Old Street street system, and subdivides the functional system of 16 functional products to showcase the unique style and cultural environment of the old street.

The key project design adopts a spatial combination of "play+street", "play+courtyard", and "play+field", using the internal street and alley system of the old street as the skeleton to jointly connect important activity scenes with "play" as the core. The original abandoned vegetable market courtyard space is renovated, and the flow stage function and the Lutianba tea social scene are incorporated to continue the "familiarity with life" and " hustle and bustle of everyday life " of the town residents, forming different forms of public life use for different groups of people; The interior of the building, through the arrangement and adjustment of space, forms an open "corridor" that runs through the building, as well as open spaces of different scales such as "courtyards", "dams", and "corridors", which gather different functional needs under the same roof and open to the public unobstructed; As a continuation of the public space in the town, the Wind and Rain Play Corridor forms a corridor in the architectural spatial form and the courtyard and terrace space of the original architectural settlement, creating a space for communication and a friendly environment.
