In this regard, Z.GROUP held a project summary review meeting on July 1, 2022 to summarize the project experience and shortcomings to provide some effective suggestions for the later projects, and to discuss the current urban design in the spirit of the mission, value orientation, and synergy and other aspects. Summarize the review meeting first on the “Yongtong New City Yongcheng Area Urban Design Proposal Collection” and “Chongqing Banan District Huimin Area Urban Design International Proposal Collection” two projects in the background research, program breakthroughs, logical frameworks, expression of the display and other aspects of the review discussion, in-depth analysis of the two projects at all stages of the advantages and shortcomings, the participants in the observation and exchange to summarize the experience, vertical analysis of the ideas, horizontal comparison to find gaps in the summary. The participants summarized their experiences in the observation and exchange, clarified their ideas in the vertical analysis and summarized the gaps in the horizontal comparison.
One of the common features of the above two review projects is that the project sites are long and narrow, and both of them are mountainous valley type urban designs with complex topography. The summary will focus on the traffic handling, site boundaries, terrain utilization, public services and other aspects of urban design in mountainous valley topography, with a view to formulating response measures and design models for this type of urban design.
The world's affairs should be diversified, and the drums should be beaten to urge us to ride the boat steadily. The expectations and requirements of social development on urban design are getting higher and higher, and the changes of the times we are facing are getting more and more complicated. The project summary review meeting is the experience summary of the project practice, and we should accurately recognize the changes, scientifically respond to the changes, and take the initiative to seek for the changes with the thinking of self-analysis, so that we can create great opportunities in the fight against the great risks.
