Recently, Z.GROUP together with General Research Institute of Architecture & Planning Design Co., Ltd, Chongqing University, Chongqing Planning & Design Institute​, and DTZ Real Estate Consulting (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., completed the “Urban Design Plan for Huimin Area, Banan District, Chongqing”, and the results were awarded by the expert assessment of the winners, and successfully advanced to the next level.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Banan District puts forward the strategic focus of “One District and Five Cities”, comprehensively constructs the “National Urban-Rural Integration Development Pilot Zone”, and accelerates the construction of the Southern New City, Chongqing International Bio-City, Chongqing Higher Vocational City, Dajiang Science and Technology Innovation City, and Huimin Intelligent Headquarters New City. Among them, Huimin Intelligent Headquarters New City aims to shape a “model city of internationalization, greening, intelligence, and human culture”, highlighting ecological and idyllic features, and building an intelligent digital city, a science and technology innovation city, and an ecological and livable city.

In order to plan and construct Huimin Area with a high starting point, high standard and high level, the People's Government of Banan District, Chongqing Municipality and Chongqing Planning and Natural Resources Bureau hosted and initiated the “International Call for Urban Design Proposal for Huimin Area, Banan District, Chongqing Municipality”, with a view to constructing a new benchmark of ecological value, a new demonstration of urban-rural integration, a new engine of green development, a new home with quality life, and a new model of a smart city.

June 25, 2022, Huimin Area urban design program international call for expert review will be held, inviting seven experts inside and outside the city of the five design team's program for a comprehensive review and scoring, and ultimately selected as out of the three winning program units.
