Western (Chongqing) Science City is an important strategic pivot of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and shoulders the major mission of becoming a science and technology innovation center with national influence. Sci-Tech Street is located in the core area of the Science City, adjacent to the Microelectronics Park Station and close to the Science Park, which is an important innovation platform of the innovation ecosystem around the Science Park.

The overall planning area of the project is about 72 hectares. We propose three design strategies: blue-green interoperability、texture mending， to create a green urban area in which the city and the park are intertwined and symbiotic; element location、core synergy，to polarize the multi-centered composite distribution of the science and innovation core cluster; source reinforcement、 interconnection of all things，to build a human-centered spatial network with multi-vitality source points interlinked. Through the creation of an ecological network, five intellectual cores, three sources of vitality, and multiple super chains, the project will form an overarching super IP - “HYPERLINK CITY”, which will radiate the whole region from the three dimensions of “ecology, development, and humanism”.

The project is designed by our company in cooperation with Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd (BIAD), General Research Institute of Architecture & Planning Design Co., Ltd, Chongqing University, and VARI Design.
