Dazu stone carving culture park new city for Dazu citywide, including Tongxiang, Longgang, Zhifeng three streets and Bao Ding Town, the overall area covers an area of about 140 square kilometers. The overall urban design includes the core area of the new town and the urban expansion area covering a total area of about 33 square kilometers, of which the detailed urban design for the northern part of the core area of the new town covers an area of about 5 square kilometers.

The overall urban design is based on the three strategies of “landscape charm、craftsmanship spread、and cultural expo” to lead the whole area: four-dimensional cumulative layer interpretation of Dazu's landscape charm; five communities to support cultural craftsmanship spread; and cultural expo to create a cultural living room in the world.

The detailed urban design is the core area of Dazu Stone Carving Cultural Park New City, polarizing the original cultural layers with three positioning of “Original Culture Welcoming and Displaying Area, Cultural Mutual Recognition and Expo Essence Section, and Urban and Rural Ecological Protection Demonstration Site”, and strengthening and beautifying the core of the city with the abundant and prosperous Cultural Landscape. Precise planning and deduction of “4 core functional modules, 9 key project packages and several functional projects” resonate to create a beautiful and happy city.
