Jiulongpo Area of West (Chongqing) Science City is located at the south end of the trough in the west of Chongqing, adjacent to the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, which is the southern functional plate in the overall positioning of the Science City and the western gateway to the main city of Chongqing in the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. The area is about 147.59 square kilometers, accounting for 12.3% of the total area of the Science City.

The program analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the site in depth, proposes six industrial strategies, namely, “adjusting structure,building ecology, loving nature, talking about culture, improving quality, and promoting circulation”, and builds a “1+2+N” industrial system, which in turn customizes a set of industrial catalogs and depicts an industrial map. The spatial planning undertakes the industrial system to create six production-city-scape integration demonstration scenarios of “Aluminum-Hydrogen Wisdom Industry Belt + Daxi River Green Carbon Circle + TOD Industry Demonstration Nucleus, Western Groove Valley Grain Warehouse, Arts Peninsula Backyard Garden, Science City Sales Office, Old Xipeng with Three-Line Micro Shift, Golden Hub of new Huangqian”, and to form the spatial structure of “One Belt, Three Nuclei, Two Wings, and Six Districts”.
