Huimin Area is located in the eastern eco-city of Chongqing, with Qiaoping Hill in the west and Mingyue Hill in the east, with an obvious trough pattern; the meandering flow of Yuxi River, Huimin Lake and Yinglong Lake with mirror-like waves, and rich blue and green elements; the proximity of Chongqing East Railway Station, Nanpeng Highway Logistics Base and other international open portals, with convenient transportation links; the close proximity of Guangyang Bay Intellectual Creation Eco-city, Nanpeng International Trade & Logistics City and other core functional boards, with superior regional resources. This urban design collection is divided into two parts: overall urban design and detailed design, of which the overall urban design covers an area of about 24 square kilometers and the detailed urban design covers an area of about 8 square kilometers.
The program is based on a beautiful name card, three major development visions and six spatial strategies to unify the overall urban design, build a spatial structure of “a river connecting three lakes, a blue chain stringing the whole area, and two mountains to build a barrier”, depict an idyllic landscape of intertwined hills and ponds, create a development model of urban-rural integration, and shape a smart and compact urban form.
