The project is located in the southeastern part of Yinglong Town of Nanan District in the eastern part of the main city of Chongqing, with an area of about 6.25 square kilometers. Among them, 3.64 square kilometers are in Yinglong Lake Wetland Park on the west side, about 1 square kilometers are between Yinglong Lake Wetland Park and Four Hills Prohibited Line on the east side, and about 1.61 square kilometers are within the scope of Four Hills Prohibited Line on the east side.

The project refines the unique site characteristics of Yinglong Lake, combines the background analysis, puts forward the planning vision of “letting the wetland become the catalyst of urban creation, letting the city become the support of wetland maintenance”, and carries out the three-dimensional development judgments, namely, “value judgment, mode judgment, and function judgment”, the three themes of “rhythmic wetland, symbiotic cell, enjoyable idyllic”, the three strategies of “showing the beauty of rhythmic wetland, proposing the symbiotic cell, and constructing an idyllic realm of enjoyment”, and the three strategies of creating “a wetland network, four strings of pearls, and four strings of beads”. Wetland network, four bead colonies, two theme communities, a road bottom landscape, a flower sea valley, a mountain park, five sightseeing flow lines, a number of habitat nodes", eight elements, the Yinglong Lake area with unique natural elements to make an integrated and innovative planning solution.
