The project is located in the northwest of Nanan District, Chongqing, adjacent to the Yangtze River. The design scope is divided into a overall planning study area and a key urban design area. Among them, the overall planning study area is about 10 square kilometers and the key urban design area is about 57 hectares.

Through location analysis, background analysis of the current situation, superior planning study, and residents' demand research, the master plan proposes the reasonable positioning of the Danzishi Peninsula as a “fashionable, cultural and expositional welcoming peninsula” on the main axis of the development of the central urban area on the four banks of the two rivers, with a high-density urban cultural gathering place focused on showcasing the new Chongqing, a high-vitality fashionable and cultural industry cluster to create new features, and a high-quality development mode integrated into the four banks of the two rivers.   the area will be built into an urban cultural showground, a magnetic field of culture industry and a future human habitat exhibition.

The key urban design continues the “international fashion and entertainment living room” positioning of the Yangren Street area in the overall planning section, a one-stop cultural center showcasing the new Chongqing with performing arts and fashion and entertainment as the core, and through the three major strategies of “building souls through culture, building foundations through ecology, and building environments through activities”, it put forward three major themes of “welcoming, pleasing and retaining guests”, and created eight important scenarios of “Yangtze River Dream Stage”, “PMC Cultural Complex”, “New Yan Ren Street Vitality Colony”, “Vitality City Plaza”, “Yubin Fashion Golden Street”, “Culture and Leisure Greenway”, “Shaxi Wetland Loop” and “Culture Plain Park”. "The project is designed to strengthen the spatial form control and enhance the urban image of the Yangren Street area in Danzishi.

The project is designed by our company together with Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd (BIAD)
